[SOLVED]Skin or Sweep A Twisting Rope

I have this basic copy setup to form a twisting cable or rope.

The next step is to skin it somehow.

I have tried skin and sweep but neither one will produce a polygon output surface.

Does anyone know how to skin a rope?

skin>skip every Nth, where N=6

(you may want to change circle2 to polygon...but don't have to)

I have seen the skip parameter before but I can't seem to locate it in my setup.

On what node do I skip by 6?

by default, skin is set to All primitives, change it to Skip every Nth, then N is Enabled so you can 'get in there'

Oh, I see. That option is available if I don't use input 2 on the skin node.

hmmm...I didn't need it, here your scene with no other mods whatsoever...just add the skin...blah blah..
