Controlling mountain basis with an attribute?

Hi,

I'm scattering points on a sphere, giving the points an attribute named height. I'm attribute transferring the height attribute onto the sphere which has a mountain sop on it. It's working. I want to do the same thing with the basis which is the noise type but cant get it to work.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Thank you for that example.

However I'm now thinking I need to attribute randomize string values. I'm rooting around in the parameter interface finding some interesting things out.
