VEX function ocean_sample - what inside?

Hi!

What is inside the VEX function ocean_sample? What calculations are done there? I'm writing my own C++ displacement because the oceanSampleLayers is very very slowly. I use houdini/vex/include/ocean.h as a reference. But it uses ocean_sample, with unknown code.

did you consider asking this on the official sidefx forum or contact support? I mean theres tons of brilliant people here, but I doubt someone apart from sidefx has the latest source.
