using volume vop node to set color attributes on sphere shells

Hello, I am simulating a semi-sphere with shells of different colors as shown in the attached screenshot. However, I found that the colors on the ramp was not shown completely on my cross-section of the semi-sphere, what is the proper way I should do it instead of shifting all my color points to the left?


Also, when play the simulation, it needs very long cooking time for each frame, is there a way to cook all frame once, then it run smoothly and fast for later play?
