Donuts & Cupcakes! What? :blink: This is the theme of my new 3D animation [V2] of dominoes falling down! :D
The goal? Have fun and training my skills in 3D simulations under Houdini v18!

Technical details :
- Houdini 18 -> Modeling, textures of Cupcakes and Donuts, rigid body dynamics simulations, placement and cameras paths.
- Blender 2.83.1 -> Textures, lights and rendering with Cycles, because Houdini's mantra is really too slow to calculate ...

Hi everyone! That's the [V1] of my new video : SOFTBODY BALLS SIMULATION ! :lol:B););)

It's the FIRST VERSION, and this is a "stacking" video! And why? Hmmm... Why not! As usual, I think it's colorful, happy, fun and oddly satisfaying! ;-)

This is another way to continue improving my skills of Houdini (from SideFX) with SoftBody Simulation, Procedural modeling and Dynamics... All objects modeling, camera paths and soft body dynamics had been made with Houdini v18

Calculating (and saving!) Balls Softbody simulation with Houdini was fast, only about 120 minutes with my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X... And for the texturing and renders, this time I used Mantra renderer directly from Houdini, many thanks to NVIDIA with their powerful Optix Denoiser which allow faster rendering with my new RTX2080Ti FE !

Only around 35 hours of rendering with my powerful PC (see below for the setup...)

Anyway, have fun with this video and enjoy the stacking of hundreds of softbody balls !! ^_^

Hi everybody! Today, it's just a short mix of some Houdini tests : grains falling down, toys crashing on the floor, etc...
Why this compilation? Hmmm... Why not!

I continue to improve my skills of Houdini... ;)

All objects modeling, camera paths and soft body dynamics had been made with Houdini v18
For the texturing and renders, I used Mantra renderer directly from Houdini, with NVIDIA Optix Denoiser which allow faster rendering ! Only around 25 hours of rendering in FullHD with my PC ...

Anyway, I made these videos with fun and I hope you have fun to watch them !! :D;)

We are the 10th of the month! My new #3d animation is online! On the menu: #softbody well shaken, with a shaker and not with a spoon :D, and a final... a must to see! ;)

All cooked with #houdini and served on a tray with #redshift, stay cool and see you soon! :lol:;)

It's the 20th of the month! Small tribute to Super Mario World into my last 3d animation for his 35th anniversary!

To be seen: softbody tumbling down, with happy rebounds :D, and a new finale... not to be missed! ;)

All modeled and animated with Houdini and calculated (very quickly!) with Redshift, stay zen and see you next time for the 30th of the month!

We're the 30th of the month! Think : after some hours of playing TETRIS there are lots of blocks... What would happen if they came in the real World ???

All objects modeling, camera paths, rigid body dynamics and simulation had been made with Houdini v18.0.499
Calculating simulation with Houdini was faster, only 45 minutes with my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X...

For textures and renders, I used REDSHIFT 2.6 renderer, and NVIDIA Optix Denoiser to make faster renders
To render all the 3200 frames, it took about 70 hours because of the 4 camera point of view... :unsure:

Today is October 10, the month of Halloween! A super cool theme for rolling and bouncing Pumpkins, Skulls and other Witch Hats!
My new video uses Houdini's Vellum module to simulate very kind bouncing objects (softbody), just to enjoy your time!

All objects modeling, soft body dynamics and simulation, camera paths, had been made with Houdini v18 from SideFX
Simulation calculation time with Houdini was longer than the last animation, about 200 minutes with my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X...

I used REDSHIFT v3 to render, and NVIDIA Optix Denoiser to speed up rendering process !
To render all the 2050 frames, it took only 8 hours this time because I'd simplified the textures...

Hi everyone ! We're always in October, Halloween day approaching quickly... :D Today : TUMBLING OF PUMPKINS, SPIDERS, SKULLS And So on ! ^_^
Stay till the end to don't lose the final scene ! ;)

Lots of Rigid Body Pumpkins, Spiders and Skulls which tumbling allong pipes to a large Cauldron with a dynamic music !

All objects modeling, rigid body simulations, camera paths, had been made with Houdini v18.0.597
Simulation calculation time with Houdini was long (too many interacting objects I think), about 240 minutes with my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X...

And I used REDSHIFT v3.0.30 to render, and NVIDIA Optix Denoiser to speed up rendering process !
To render all the 3100 frames, it took about 30 hours this time...

Hello everybody ! This is it, Halloween Week-End! :D:D To the menu: CRAZY FLYING SNEERING SKULLS WITH BOUNCING PUMPKINS AND A MYSTERIOUS CAULDRON! ;)
And don't quit before the final scene!

In this one, there are many squishy Pumpkins and crazy flying Skulls with a mysterious Cauldron with a cool Hallloween music !

All objects modeling, objects animations, explosion, camera paths, have been made with Houdini v18.5.351 from SideFX
The explosion simulation calculation time with Houdini was very fast about 15 minutes with my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X...

As always, I used REDSHIFT v3.0.31 to render, and NVIDIA Optix Denoiser to speed up rendering process !
To render the 3350 frames, it took less than 10 hours this time...

Hi everyone ! Today, a Weird Race between Pac-Man and... Dominoes !! What's ? Yes, it's Strange but.. WHO WILL WIN ?? :D^_^

This is my first Race Style Video, I hope you like it ! It was really funny to create for me..

All objects modeling, objects animations, camera paths, have been made with Houdini v18.5.351
The Rigid Body simulation calculation time with Houdini was very (very) fast, less than 5 minutes with my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X...

I used REDSHIFT v3.0.31 to render, and always the NVIDIA Optix Denoiser to speed up rendering process !
To render the 2281 frames, it took only about 12 hours this time...

Christmas is coming ! :D What could be better than a fun little Party to relax a bit? :D;) This is precisely the subject of my new online video since today!
Of course I modeled everything with Houdini v18.5.351, as well as the camera path and the simulation (about 80 minutes of calculations) of the dancing objects and the mechanisms that shake them.
The textures and the 3D rendering are done directly with Redshift v3.0.31 in only 14h with my two cards (RTX2080Ti + GTX1080)... :P

Everything was modeled with Houdini v18.5.408, including the camera path and the simulation (5 minutes of calculations), the particles calculation was done in real time.


The textures and the 3D rendering are created with Redshift v3.0.34 in about 15h with my two Nvidia cards (RTX2080Ti + GTX1080) ... ;)

Hello everybody ! Okay, this video is a remake... I'm currently too busy to do more ! But I still wanted to release a new video for the 30th !

And it's not really the same video, the video editing is more dynamic, the objects are differents, the colors are more pastel, and especially the final scene is different too ! :D

Hi everyone ! Today just bunch of Cute Red and Chubby little Hearts which joyfully bouncing ! ;) I'm always too busy to do more ! But it was necessary to make a new video for Valentine's Day ! :D

All objects modeling, animations, simulation, camera paths, have been made with Houdini v18.5.408
The calculation time of the Soft Body simulation with Houdini took around 5 hours with my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X (yes there was lots of hearts...)

As always I used the REDSHIFT v3.0.35 to render, and also the NVIDIA Optix Denoiser to speed up rendering process !
To render the 5000 frames, with my new RTX3090 it took around 30 hours...

Hello everybody ! Today, it's a new Satisfying Video...^_^ Some Liquids animations in Slow Motion with a cool and nice music ! I think it's oddly satisfying to watch... ;)
I hope you like it anyway...:D

Video Editing with Premiere Pro and it's old Fluids Simulations with FLIP Fluid in too many time... :(
Renders times were so... long ! I don't remember exactly, but they took days of rendering with my old PC...
It was before my new RTX (3090 + 2080Ti) cards, with "only" the GTX generation (1080 + 970) !

Hi everybody ! This is my (totally! ;)) new Video : Thousand of Balls Flooding a Scifi Corridor ! :D With some parts in Slow Motion and a very cool (explosive...) end ! :lol:;)

I chose a cool and nice music too ! The design style and colors choice are different than my usual choices... ^_^ I hope you like it...

Video Editing made with Premiere Pro and the Rigid Body Simulation has calculated with Houdini in not so long time, only 2 hours with my Ryzen 9 3900X... :P

Render times weren't so long, around 30 hours for 3600 frames (there are 3 cameras). With my new RTX duo (3090 + 2080Ti) cards, "only" an average of 35s per frame ! :D:lol:;)

It's fun, but without wanting to be harsh, the editing ruins your film a bit.
Especially you should avoid the succession of shots with 180° orientation points of view.
And slow motion is cool, but you shouldn't abuse it.
Editing is a crucial part of making a movie.
