anbt 3 Posted January 29 So I could have a texture that is different on each side. How do I do this? I tried group by normal, but when it is just a plane, it takes everything. Cheers
Noobini 689 Posted January 30 use the preset top or bottom which is vertical, then all you have to do is adapt it to a horizontal axis, too easy...the spread should be 0.
anbt 3 Posted January 30 @Noobini Thanks! It isn't really working though. Am I missing something?
Noobini 689 Posted January 30 (edited) probably just wrong axis, if z doesn't work you got 2 other choices left...most likely not y...so you got one left... all depends on your geo's orientation Edited January 30 by Noobini
anbt 3 Posted January 31 (edited) @Noobini What I want to try is not to split my plane into two halves as you did on your screenshot. To take your example I would like to take the whole front side of your square and put it in one group, and put what is behind, the other side, in another group. In my example, this is what I tried. I was careful to choose the correct axis, I tried them all, and it creates a random selection, that increases or decreases according to the spread level. Thanks Edited February 1 by anbt
