vinyvince 117 Posted October 6, 2021 Hello guys I buit a process to build airship from a sphere, all procedural. For the decal I didn't used the labs tools as there was too many missing things indeed. How could I render the decal properly in Arnold and Redshift? Does anyone know please please please? ________________________________________________________________ Vincent Thomas (VFX and Art since 1998) Senior Env and Lighting artist & Houdini generalist & Creative Concepts http://fr.linkedin.com/in/vincentthomas

flcc 145 Posted October 6, 2021 Well Done I like this look, both curved and well shaped. It reminds me a bit of that illustrator from the 70's Chris Foss.
vinyvince 117 Posted October 7, 2021 Oh i share you rlove from Chris Foss, i remember totally and yeah it was part of my inspiration... Will have been better if my decal type will have work and if I spend a little more work on the texture Also my ID typo at the middle of each airship has a hard time to find correct plane to settle when pannels are opens.. Obviously for cable and this, if I keep the panel close it has no problem at all . But I like better the second one @flcc@Librarian ________________________________________________________________ Vincent Thomas (VFX and Art since 1998) Senior Env and Lighting artist & Houdini generalist & Creative Concepts http://fr.linkedin.com/in/vincentthomas
