Hello i'm starting to learn houdini and im trying to create a newspaper generator.

At this moment i can't continue cuz i've set up two simulations one after another and the second one doesn't work.

The first simulation is building the pile of newspapers and deforming them and the second should wrap a cord around but doesnt work

The first simulation is basically this: https://ibb.co/PZSptBt4 and the DOPnet https://ibb.co/4ZLC143v

And the second simulation setup is...https://ibb.co/TMqyhFcW and the DOPnet https://ibb.co/rPx6J7z

I would greatly appreciate your help.

So for once you scale is pretty big, I would normalize the scale of the asset first, second you are using geometry for the hair constraint, that wont work. If you are going to use hair constraints do not sweep them. If you want to keep the geo you should be using cloth instead.

I tried another approach, now it has only one simulation.

The thing is i don't know how drive the compression of the newspaper with the wrapping cord.
What do you think?
