MultiSolver - interaction between - Particles and VDB

Hi everyone .

I'm looking for a way to simulate two different objects in a single simulation.

The idea is that one object is a FLIP water simulation, and the other is a collision object that gradually dissolves (melts). For example, when hot water drips onto an ice block, the ice melts over time.

I don't want to run two separate simulations .

i create a simple pseudo setup to explain the idea .

Thanks!

@Milad.Savar do you have reference on that :)  ...??? in real life some footage , What happens When HOT Water (DROPLET) hit ICE??? i found something on Youtube ?? did you check those videos??
maybe Use Sop Solver !!

Hey Tesan, thanks for your advice!

Actually, I haven't followed any specific reference. My point is to update the collision every frame, while at the same time, the particles dissolve the collider more as they hit it.

It's kind of like a Growth Solver, but here we have a continuous feedback loop between the FLIP and the ice collision.

The FLIP collision ice → the ice changes/dissolves → the collision gets updated → and the FLIP reacts to the new collision.

@Milad.Savar and files to check other solution and combine to fluid-solver i think  is useful .. and check examples from FuatYueksel_Siggraph

Good Stuff i have already the some of the tutorial for gas particles to field and get good result in flip for color mixing - but my problem still is how update collsion eachtime step ;(

Thanks for sharing stuff .
