Guest Swann

why not just multiply by rot matrix and add P difference?

Have you looked at example in 7 post here ? ;)

why the hocus-pocus with matrix conversion?

Learning ? As I sad, I was reading book and now I tryed do it practicaly.

i was assuming you are trying to do what you've done in 7th post just with one VOP, which you can exactly just like that, sorry if i misunderstand you

learning is the best reason, sorry for that too :)

Hi SWANN,

other work...back to odforce..

back to my project.

Didn't try your solutions on my character's hair yet.Even if I don't it's great learning material and can be put to use for some other cooler stuff...

Like anim says aligning the 1st and 2nd points can be useful for hair...so far I haven't had to tho.

Great stuff...

I somehow got the pigtails to work....using forEach ...copy...but it was not a clean solution...I suppose it worked because each pigtail was facing more or less in the same direction...

But things were a lot different with hair on the character's head...since they were all growing in different directions.

So SWANN's solution (the simpler version posted) is what I'm using now. Still learning.

modified it to get the 1st and 2nd (not the last) points aligned...So now the 1st and 2nd will align with the normal...and the rest will be the "styled" hair.

mmmm..there is still that orientation problem...
