can I import shave and Hircut which is done in Maya and then come back to Houdini to render it? I tried out to get the curve format in IFD but couldnt find it.

That thread should give plenty of insight, but even still here's a simple workflow example using exported Shave guide curves from Maya. You may be able to use an assemble sop instead of connectivity/partition together.
