Global Timing!

Recommended Posts

Maya has a Global time node " time1" , It has a certain fps by default!

but i can animate time1 node with a animCurve to modify the Global

timing ! How can I do that in Houdini?

For example : I have Dop network/Pop network and some animated

sop objects in the sence . I want to repersent slow motion effects in

a certain range . How can I use a single "animCurve" to slow all of

them ?

can you help me ?

Correction - Maya has no global time - everything is local there.

So you need a local non-linear time in Houdini ?

Take a look at the CHOP's located in CHOPs\Shape. You will figure it out.

The particle CHOP is broken, so be aware when working with POPs and CHOPs.

YES. I mean that the simulation is connected to time1 by default in maya. so I define it as global time personally.

thank you ! I will try my best to figure it out .
