airwinds
Hello All, I have created a procedural city and have applied a material node, referenced to the SHOP network. The SHOP network contains 12 textures connected to a switch node. I want to apply these 12 textures randomly to buildings in the city. I have used Copy stamp for geometry, but copy stamp doesn't seem to work in the SHOP net. I tried connecting the "switcher" in the switch node (inside SHOP network) with a random node, but that doesn't produce any results. I have attached an image of how my nodes are arranged in the SHOP net. Does anyone know how I can randomize the materials? Thanks!! ~Air

airwinds
Thanks for your reply.. but this seems to work only in Mantra. I should have mentioned previously, but I am using Renderman. And this method doesn't work in Renderman. Does anyone know how to make it work in Renderman? Thanks! ~Arvind
