woodenduck
beginner needing help! I have a single piece of geometry (a torch) I need to apply a texture to the handle and a separate one to the body. So far any SHOP I apply is affecting the entire geometry. Is there any way I can break the geometry in to parts so that I can then apply textures to individual groups? Cheers guys!
asnowcappedromance
of course there is a way try to apply different groups to your geometry and then address those groups within a material SOP. In this material node you can fetch your SHOP shader and it will work only for your grouped geometry! regards, Manuel
