jim c
I'm pretty new to creating shaders in Houdini, so this may be a pretty basic question. If you find a material that you like, lets say the "Beat up metal" shader (I think that's what it's called), and you want to take that as your base and then add a decal/texture on top of it, what's the right way to go about that? Is it just a matter of copying out the contents of the original shader into a VEX subnetwork, add in a texture node and combine the two together? Is there a better way?
