Sagroth Posted December 25, 2009 Share Posted December 25, 2009 (edited) When I use attenuation for glass (glass VOP, trace VOP, premade materials from material palette) objects start to fade into attenuation color even with total darkness in refraction, therefore appear to be somewhat glowing. Here're images to make the problem even clearer - left one is from houdini (those glass pieces to the left that refract darkness still glow with attenuation color) and right one is what I want to achieve (that's maya's mia_material - attenuation color doesn't appear where refraction is black).
