Symbolic
Hi, I am running a couple of experiments with the WIRE solver and the WIRE OBJECT. For some reason the "damplinear" attribute I am creating at the SOP level does not have any effect on my wires. Everythin else works: klinear, kangular, density etc. from the help: kangular Edge (vertex) Float Defines how strongly the wire resists bending. klinear Edge (vertex) Float Defines how strongly the wire resists stretching. damplinear Edge (vertex) Float Defines how strongly the wire resists oscillation due to stretching forces. dampangular Edge (vertex) Float Defines how strongly the wire resists oscillation due to bending forces. I am suspecting that anything that has "damp" in the name, does not work? I have preper streching happening so that I can observe the dampling. But no luck so far. Any ideas? Thanks! Symbolic
Ok. "dampangular" works, perfectly. "damplinear" deos not.
