kai.scorpio Posted July 24, 2010 Share Posted July 24, 2010 (edited) I'm working on a model that contains a gear chain, and every gear is a separate geo object (for animating using parenting + CHOPs later). Since a lot of the gears are similar (there are only three model variations, but I need to make them in many different sizes & numbers of teeth), I'd like to simply use one model and then use something like ObjectMerge to bring them into the relevant geo object. However, I'd need to edit the diameter and number of teeth in each one, so I need to do something similar to copy stamping, but it would be between two separate geo objects. Is something like this possible? I hope I've managed to explain what I'm getting at... If there's a completely different solution that gets the same effect that's good too of course Thanks, Kai EDIT: Just turned the thing into an OTL, so it's all fixed If anybody knows how to do this please reply though, could be useful later.
