viezel
I really not a programming dude, so I could use some help. I just tried downloading Houdini for Maya, and it works fine (because it has a great step by step guide how to install to work with different versions of Maya). But I like Houdini better for simulations... Im using Houdini 11.0.446.9 on win7 x64. - First off, I count not locate the correct build from the google code site (only osx onces in the H11 build) - Secondly, I dont know where to put the files in the zip - How do I use add the nodes to houdini and integrate a sheif? I tried to install this for 2 days now, and I am desperate for some help here! would someone please write a thorough step by step guide. Cheers! pclaes
I recently wrote some info on compiling some of the hdk samples on Linux. There might be info in there that can help you, but maybe not: getting started with hdk

There might be info in there that can help you, but maybe not: getting started with hdk well, since I use win7 x64, I do not know how to use these commands.. But thanks for the reply. Could any windows people help me out. I guess im not the only one that would like to try out this toolkit..
