hopbin9
Hi, Sorry if this is another noob question. I have a box that is 0.25 width. I'm using the copy to stamp that box sideways 10 times. Each box should be spaced apart from it's neighbor by 1 unit. That part is very easy to do, but my problem is that each box needs to increase it's width by 0.25 units and still be 1 unit apart. So the translation in Z is an exponential math equation that I can't seem to figure out. I thought maybe it would be a cubic function, but that didn't seem to work. So the first box is 0.25 wide, the second 1.0 wide and third 1.25 wide. Each box should have a 1 unit gap between them. How would I stamp that? Any help would be great, and thanks. hopbin9
Look up geometric series. Something like this: Perfect. Thank you very much. I'm using this to space out dado's on the design for a woodworking bench.
