hopbin9
Hi, Another noob question, sorry but I can't find this in the manual. I have a sphere emitting particles as it travels. The particles have a velocity of zero so they hold in space. Problem is there are gaps spacing the particles apart cause they are created at each frame. I need to create particles smoothly between frames as well. I tried using the constant impulse birth, constant birth and increasing the oversampling on the POP network, but nothing seemed to fix it. Any ideas? Thanks,
Netvudu
yep, this is a common one. Add the Timeblend SOP to the geometry you´re going to input into POPs. That should fix it. It surprises me though that it happened to you with a moving sphere, and oversampling didn´t fix it, at least partially. This tends to happen to me with geometry sequences. hopbin9
Thanks you, I'll give it a try. Sorry, it wasn't a sphere it was a circle. I was emitting from the edges so the problem was very apparent.
Klockworks
What was your oversampling set at?
