Klockworks
Hi, I am working on a project that has heavy interaction between POPs and DOPs. I want to keep them separate to be able to art direct their movement more easily. My question is: Is there an alternative to bringing in particles into a DOP context over a POP Solver? I have tried using a SOP Geo looking at a frame sequence in SOPs, but with set Initial on the frames of particles just add up and never die, and if I do Set Always the cook time is triple that of a POP solver. It isn't the most important thing in the world but I am trying to add in efficiency wherever I can within this effect. Any help would be wonderful. Klockworks
So I figured out a solution to my problem. I don't know why sopGeo was taking so long to cook from my original post, but I ended up looking in a few of the objects(RBD & Particle specifically) for a common method and removing what I didn't need from them. Attached is a simple example file with my solution. particleFile.hip
