Tannins
Back again with some more questions regarding absolute size of an object. I have a tire that was modelled and then transformed and scaled so that it matched the scale of the rest of the object. Now I am trying to do a realistic rotation of the tire from the speed of the object - but I am not sure how to get the absolute size of the object. I know that I can take the original size and multiply it by the scale etc - but is there an easier way to do this (ie. if I have multiple scales applied or edits etc)? Anyone come across this before? Tannins
Also I've noticed when I try to rotate the tire it does not rotate based on the middle of the object. So when I rotate on the x-axis it rotates but it also moves away from the position that it is supposed to be in. How do I specify just to rotate around the centre of the tire? Macha
How do I specify just to rotate around the centre of the tire? Try $CEX $CEY and $CEZ as pivot center.
