crin
Maybe something like this solution? http://forums.odforce.net/index.php?/topic/11615-fluid-deformed-by-a-curve/page__hl__smoke%20curve__fromsearch__1
jujoje
By happy coincidence I was having a look getting volumes to follow a path this morning. I've attached a hip file of where I was at. The basic set-up is to bring a velocity field into DOPs from SOPs and use a Gas Particle To Field to add the points velocity attribute to the existing velocity field. The main node here is the Gas Particle To Field which allows you to tweak the existing and the added velocity fields. One of the main drawbacks I've had with this method so far is that the speed of the simulation appears to change when you change the resolution. The hip file will probably make more sense than my explanation. I hope . Edited January 31, 2011 by jujoje
jujoje
It would be helpful if I actually atached the .hip file odforce_vel_field.hipnc
