matchboxninja
Hey guys, I'm having a bit of an issue with using the paint node and getting the geometry to act accordingly. It's simply a wall that I am trying to break along how I've painted it. But despite the fact that I have geometry that does break off, I also have geometry that seems to resemble the original wall that hasn't broken at all. Does anyone know how to get over this issue? Have I just missed a setting somewhere to ensure I only get one version of the wall: the one that acts appropriately to simulation. I've attached the file here. Thank you in advance odforce.hipnc
Macha
Not sure where you went wrong but I think it had to do with messy groups. Try this. odforce.hipnc Edited February 10, 2011 by Macha
matchboxninja
Hi Macha, Thank you that was a big help! Can I ask what the "fuse" node does in the "foreach" node? Thank you again!
Macha
Maybe nothing. I added it in case further down the line the problem was related to unfused points creating unwanted groups. It's a debug node I forgot to remove (perhaps)
