Blowing up pre-fractured geometry in dops

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I am trying to blow a up pre-fractured geometry inside the dops. My first idea was using the vortex field force. Though I never used a vortex force but I managed to set it up with some documentation, but it somehow isn't working. Or anyone has any ideas on how to approach this problem? Many thanks. Much appreciated.

I looked at Macha reply on this thread regarding vortex field:

I gave it a try but I somehow cant seem to get it to work on my pre-fractured geometry.

I've not used vortex force, but I know that your dop network doesn't have any solver, and that's one thing you always need in your dop!

and why do you wanna use a vortex field? I'm not sure which one is better, but I usually use another dummy object, and make it static rbd, and it works fine, and I think you have more control over it. Although sometimes fields work better.

I apologise, didn't realise the solver was missing. Anyways the new file is below, Many thanks.
