shilpesh
Hi, I have created scene with ground plane and a sphere with RBD. When I give velocity to the sphere in X it starts moving in that direction. But while rolling, the sphere starts bouncing on the ground. I have added 0 value in Bounce for Sphere and groundplane which comes under physical tab, but I still face the same problem. Can someone please tell me how to remove the bounce for the Sphere. I am attaching a file with this message so that you can take a look at the problem. -Thanks

Adept
What about non-dynamic animation of the sphere and switching to RBD when it's really needed?

rbowden
Please check the attached file Looked at the file and the bounce is set to .5 on both the ground plane and the object still... Anyway, you can try to up your substeps in your rigid body solver to see if that helps.
shilpesh
Tried putting 0 value for bounce and increasing the substeps. But I am still facing the same problem. Increasing the substeps not removing the bounce completely, it's just reducing it slightly.
