beeemtee
Hi, what is the preferred way to reference a file relative to an asset's library's location? Thanks in advance! Mate
hopbin9
An OTL can be loaded in different ways, so I'm not sure relative to the OTL will work in Houdini. If the asset always requires the file, then you should embed the file and use the opdef:/accessname/?filename to access the file. Otherwise, you should put your files in the Houdini home director, and then use the $HFS to access the file.
beeemtee
Thanks for your answer! I attached an example asset which does what I need. I'm just wondering if there is a simpler, more elegant solution for this.. Mate
