gaurav
Hello folks, I am relatively new to dealing with Nurbs surfaces and would like to know some efficient ways of selecting/ deleting an area on them. For something like attached image, I have only figured "Project a curve and Trim" so far. Also For a very large and dense nurbs surface what would be more efficient. A. "Convert to poly and delete inverted selection" V/S B. "Project a curve and Trim" or any other method. Thanks,
Macha
I'd convert to polys. With nurbs you quickly run into difficult terrain. (Hey sesi, give nurbs some love and they will be awesome for many fx tasks! But you know that already!)
gaurav
Thanks macha. I too feel the speed V/s Control issue. eg. its really easy and faster to draw smooth curves but I Do not even know if grouping breakpoints of that nurbs curve is allowed for greater control.
