cam71101 Posted March 21, 2012 Share Posted March 21, 2012 Hi Guys, I'm brand new to the forum and I'm a complete noob when it comes to Houdini. I'm currently doing a project which is based on the bamf teleporting effect, but instead of smoke I intend to use liquid paint. I've been playing around with flip fluids in Houdini for the past 10 days and I'm really struggling to understand fluids. I want the liquid to have the stringy look that paint produces but if you look at my .mov file you will see that I'm no where near that! I'm also attached my scene file so you can see how I'm achieving the effect. I'm using the trace node to bring in rotos of the person - as I'm not a very good modeller! Also, my school has recently installed Houdini 12 but when I load in my scene it doesn't seem to be reading the VOPSOP correctly in the POPNETWORK in the DOPNETWORK.
