switch sop in h11 and h12

Hi All,

i have a strange issue with a switch sop-

ive got a little rig that moves a curve, when its in range to influence it,

when its not in range the wirecapture sop errors out- thus giving me a blank scene

so i had a switch sop setup with an expression that i found in this very helpful thread

now, this works fine in houdini 11, but when i open the same file in houdini 12, the switch sop just

errors out

is this a bug do you think ? have they re-written the switch sop or something ?
