Owl
Hi, I've made Mandelbox in volume vops, but it has lots of noise unfortunately. Does any one have any ideas of how to get rid of it? in calculations or afterwards? mandelbox.hip
old school
Some things to try: - Try a different filter and filter width on the Object. Default is Box filter at 1x1 which looks like you are using. - Step size, is it small enough to pick up the details in your volume? - No substitute for more voxels. Try a higher resolution volume. One voxel per pixel...
Owl
this should probably go to rendering section, but its the same mandelbox so... i don't get whats wrong with the otl i've made out of previous scene, but: if i use it in volume vop its all good if i use it in cvex - it gets stuck at 1st iteration if i use mandelbulb by Jeff Lait in cvex its all good Edit: if i use non otl version of mandelbox - its all good mandelbox_cvex.rar Edited July 3, 2012 by Owl
