jkunz07
Hey, I'm switching over to a new workstation and have been getting some unstable mantra behavior. Any ideas on the error code? woodenduck
There's a couple of threads about this - http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=172&page=viewtopic&p=78670&sid=f4e89e23b0af05630e97b14af6b5cef6
jkunz07
Thanks for the links. I'm not sure where my problem is stemming from, I know it's not a licensing issue as I only have 1 instance of Houdini and mantra running. I'm thinking it's either a windows problem or a stability problem or trying to push RAM too fast. Maybe command line rendering would be the next thing to try. jkunz07
After further testing I think that the issue was due to the overclocking/ram settings in my bios. I disabled intel X.M.P. and switched everything back to auto. My ram isn't running as fast as it's spec'd now, but at least mantra is stable.
