blackchicken Posted October 31, 2012 Share Posted October 31, 2012 Hello I have little problem, I simulate really large sim with Pyro. I create volcano smoke and need lot of details. Simulation is fast till frame 160 and then I animate Timescale in pyrosolver connected to gas wind. Bu I found that after frame 160 I started loose details. So I need only little movement. It is possible blend say frame 120 and 155 where is cool details? I tryed blend sop but it works only for same grid scale. I of course use autoresize and grid is different. So question is. 1, Why I loose details after animating timescale pyro, may I animate any other parameters together? 2,How I could blend two frame Hi res caches with different grid scale? ikarus Posted October 31, 2012 Share Posted October 31, 2012 Maybe you could just simulate out the first 160 frames then save the 160th frame of dop data and read that in as an initial state for a separate sim with a smaller dop timescale?
