Eucalyptus
Hey guys, There must be a simple shader/material that I can use to put an image onto a plane, to be used as my background image? I have camera movement and there's no need to track the scene since it's just bouncing up and down, so I have a giant grid covering the background that I want to put a sky image on. How can I achieve this? As well, if I have a light in behind the huge grid for my sky, is there a way to get the light to pass through it like normal still, or for it to "exclude" seeing the geometry? I come from a 3DS background and these are all very easy tasks in it! Cheers, Dave
Eucalyptus
Okay I answered one of my own questions - UVQuickshade was what I needed to apply an image to geometry. Still wondering if there is a way to tell lights to "ignore" a piece of geometry, or allow it to pass through it. Thanks,

Thanks, You can do this in the Light Linker pane, which isn't a part of the default "build" desktop, but you can add it by hitting the + sign next to any tabbed panes.
