Ben Lumumba
Greetings I started again to explore CHOP This is some simple project I exercise simply 12 principles of animation on example of two balls I have two balls Ball 1 and ball 2 or parent and child, IK And as the bigger one moves in tx the smalles one follows with delay follow ups, inertion First starts to moves and second moves a bit late due to passive inertion and than when first stop second stops after but still osscilates a bit When starting to move first one I added to second ball a delay CHOP passing tx from first ball to secondl and when added delay CHOP ball2 follows late That works fine. But when stoping first one I need second delay in the same clip animation to same object How to add multiple CHOP network to same clip animation to same object(s) It Follow.zip
digitallysane
Hi Ben, I recommend you use a Lag CHOP instead of the Delay CHOP. The Lag CHOP has overshoot built in. To use it you need to extend you channels a bit with a Trim CHOP. I attached your scene, modified. As for your second problem, you can combine as many CHOPs as you want, using one of the many CHOPs available for combining channels. For your case I think the obvious one is the Sequence CHOP. You coud also use the Shift CHOP and then a Math CHOP, the interpolate CHOP etc. Regards, Dragos Follow_tweaked.hipnc

Ben Lumumba
Hi,digital Maybe you read the post deom sesi forum but I post only to odforce and sesi, the only two Houdini forums besides 3dBuzz Si,now I explain a bit clearer I have my channel in CHOP graph viewer and I want to select part of it and edit as I do in channel editor cropping with mouse keyframes and editing them. It comes to my mind as NLA,animation mixer in XSI or trax editor in MAYA , or blend editor in Kaydara
digitallysane
I think you should use the sequence CHOP. I attached a file with some variations on the theme. The timing is totally off, is just an example of what operators I think you could use. Good luck, Dragos Follow_tweaked2.hipnc
