JuriBryan
Hi everybody. I am currently trying to get more used to use Glue networks for my fracturing simulations, and I am running in some problems at doing so. What I am trying to do: I want to group parts of the Glue network inside a sop solver and give parts of those groups a lower strength then the rest of the network. The problem I am running into is, that as soon as the geo moves the points inside the group change, so I can't define breaking points using this technique. I tried to preserve the points in the group by giving them a color and running a max function after that, so that points that were red ( coloured by the new group) will stay red. Then I put a new group node after that and group where ever red is 1. And I use that new group to set the strength attribute then. This should work, at least I think so and i saw solutions like this posted in this forum before, but it does not. The last attribute create node changes the entire network and not just the parts inside the new group. On by is the file that causes all those problems. I am thank full for any help I can get. Cheers, Juri wineGlassFracturing_03.hipnc
