danylyon
This is probably an easy question.. but I just can't get my head around. I made a RBD simulation with Tubes (Primitives).. and now I would like to copy stamp Wheels (Geometry) onto them. My problem is they get copied but not with the correct direction. I will probably need correct Normals on the Points.. but I have no clue how to get that information form the simulated primitives.. there don't seem to be any attributes on the primitives (Can't see any in the Detials View). Thanks in advance.
gui
do you already baked the simulation and imported in the sop context? If so, you will need to create a normal vector and an up vector, but you will have to use some information from you geometry. The "easiest" way is to do it before the sim... danylyon
Ah I see. I ended up merging with a grid and take it's normals. Thanks for the Heads up!
