feiyu9903
I'm a new user to houdini flip! i have a problem about flip! this is a very simple scene, only a sphere and a defalut fluidtank! the sphere is influenced by gravity and fall into the water, but there is only a little spray, the sphere can only a little influence to water. i do the same things in naiad ,the result is nice! is there any parameters to control this in houdini flip? or the sphere is too small? or i have to add a custom field? flip test.hipnc
outtacontex
Try increasing the velocity (negative value in Y in your case) on the initial state tab of your rbd object dop. Play with density on the physical tab as well. You'll get more of a reaction for sure. Edited April 23, 2013 by outtacontex
feiyu9903
but this change the velocity of the box,and there is a very big splash after the box drop into the water!
outtacontex
what exactly are you trying to achieve? I must have misunderstood you.
dobin
you got 'Velocity Scale' control on collision tab of the flipsolver for that. I would add point normals on the sphere and use point velocity type.
