bloomendale
Hi. 1) I have quite strange behavior in DOPs, using gluenetwork to switch between keyframed/simed positions per object. i attached simple example: there is fractured box, imported as fractured rbd in dops. Added gluenetwork and sopsolver to alter it. Every time point in gluenetwork is deleted i change switchsolver from keyframed position to bullet. BUT. if i have only two solvers feeding in switchsolver (bullet solver and copydata solver to fetch keyframed position) it's not working properly. I ended up with quite strange construction - added couple of useless solvers (red nodes) which i don't need and it works. Just delete red nodes and connect rigid body solver as 1st in switch solver - and you will get weird behavior. 2) What is the reason behind name attrib in Glue Pieces SOP? it is not containing dyn. object name, it's just prefix + $OBJID. And when using default prefixes ("piece") i have misleading name attrib (point which represents dynobject named piece0 with OBJID ==2 has name=="piece2"). thanks in advance. p.s. Hope at least this topic will gather some answers) 3ak_gluenetwork_activation1.hipnc
bloomendale
it seems it's not gluenetwork. it's switchsolver and bullet solver not working properly together.
