Scratch Posted July 16, 2013 Share Posted July 16, 2013 If you want to stamp you could use the copy sop or instancing (second is better regarding memory efficiancy). Just go for the help-card to see how they can be used, there are also examples in there. But in your case, i'd suggest going for a standard (maybe low res) smoke sim to deal with the moving fog. JuriBryan Posted July 19, 2013 Share Posted July 19, 2013 for a slow moving mist I would go with instanced CVEX. its a bit more complicated, but resolution independent and you can use a underlaying particle sim to instance the CVEX onto.
