yongbin
what is meaning of rehome particle? I've read help but still cannot understand. I know we usually set "leftmost" option with flip-solver. but I don't know why. And what is "new particle generator" option actually do? when I tested it, only thing I need is a null node (as replacement of source pop). it hasn't to be set as new particle generator. thank you. yongbin
OK. I've tested it and find some. 'rehome particles' option is just change generator attribute. so, I didn't know was what does generator attrib do. It's direct which stream is this particle belong to. next frame, particle is checking their generator and start from it. 'leftmost' mean left-top node (if you are using collect node) of popnet, so it can be 'null1' or whatever. 'new particle generator' option is little more complicate. if 'ensure all points as particles' is turned on it overrides rehome particles option, if not it's doing nothing.
