zeekindustries
Hello!!! My name is Omar Espinosa, and I-m fairly new to Houdini and for what I've already seen there's a lot of potential in how you can bend the data and get pretty neat results. Well, my question is as follows. I would like to do a very simple shader that blends between two surface colors, but, the way i want them to mix is such that the object gets shaded from color A based on the position of the surface points relative to some intersecting plane or some arbitrary 2D vector. I'm attaching an image so I can make myself more clear. Thanks a lot to everyone who gets to read this!!!
Annon
Here you go. Done on points, but the same can be done in a shader exactly the same way. od_colourFlip.hip
zeekindustries
Thanks a lot Christian!!! Just downloaded your file and yeah, that's exactly what I was aiming for. I'm going to try to replicate the effect on a shader. Thank you so much!
