Pyro Illumination Control

Recommended Posts

I am delving deeper into rendering layers. In a current project, a pyro fireball light illuminates onto an object. I’m trying to do two things:

-Possibly increase the amount of illumination on the object WITHOUT changing the current values of the pyro shader.

-Which Extra Image Plane layer I should use if I want to ONLY render out the lighting and shadows resulting from the pyro itself? If not an image plane layer, then what shader/matte process to use to isolate the light and shadow data. Maybe I can increase the illumination in Nuke/AfterEffects.
