skyros
Hi Everyone, I was wondering if I could ping you guys for help with a Houdini related issue. I've been working on a shot at work that involves some pyro work. The issue I'm having is that my pyro simulation shows up in the view port, but not in my mantra render. If I drop in a simple cube/billowy smoke it renders just fine. Off hand do any of you know why this might be happening? I'm quite new to Houdini so my debugging skills are pretty lacking at this time. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Guest tar
Check the render flag: The render uses the render flag, purple flag on the node, whilst the viewport uses the Display flag, blue one - check to see what node is flagged for rendering. skyros
Oh man, I'm an idiot. I didnt realize the display flag had to be enabled at the end of my stack. Thank you for the help. So many nuances I need to learn about Houdini.
