pbarua
Finite elements are not floating on flip fluid. I set "Feedback Scale" up to million and tried to decrease density of finite elements but nothing seems to work. It just collides and and pass through. So how to make it float???????? Sierra62
For getting objects like cloth, which is now using the FEM solver, use the fluid force. with an object like a solid FEM, I had to lower the volume mass density quite a bit to get it float. But as quick option for fem floating it works. here is your sample file with a floating fem object. FEM_Flip_interaction.hipnc
Sierra62
When working with the feedback scale, the tanks resolution is very important for getting proper feedback. To get a solid object to float using the feedback scale, lower the particle radius scale so you get more particles interacting with the object.
