harima
Hi All I was following the bullet masterclass for Houdini 13 from Sidefx site. At one of the examples he goes and set a spring constraint network for a wall, then a torus hits the wall so when force is above a certain threshold he breaks the network from a sop solver using a force attribute ( he says the solver creates for him). So as I am a fairly new Houdini user I am having some troubles. There is no shelf tool to create a spring network, only glue. So I went ahead and did that and then changed attribute wrangle in the constrain network SOP from Glue to Spring. I also changed the DOP node from Glue Constraint Relationship to a Spring Constraint Relationship with a Dataname of Spring. All looks ok and indeed I have springs working only problem is when I dive to Geometry Details for Constraint Network I obviously dont have force attributes as he has in his ready made example. So I cant make use of a SOP Solver to delete bonds base on force attribute. Question is: How do I go about creating some force attributes? Hope its clear! Thank you all
harima
Sorry guys apparently I do have. I was checking first frame on details view. When I go ahead and play force and distance attributes do populate the Geometry details tab
