tanyakim
Hello kind reader, I need help on creating a blade thin enough that it vibrates after it hit (and stick) to a wood. I have tried using bullet rbd but ran into some trouble. First it seems spring constrain doesn't work. I used rbd pin constrain but I can't see an option to adjust the strength and distance. I also get the feeling it isn't quite possible with bullet the blade (object) rotates in its center. I initially wanted to do it with particles but I can't think of a method to vibrate the blade after it hits. Perhaps a 2-pass method? It can be tough to scale to numbers. I was wondering how would you approach this problem? Thank you!
Netvudu
CHOPs are pretty good at vibrating stuff...have you tried that approach?
reny
things like these better animate than do sims. you got full range of control even if you have multiple of them. If you have dozens of them just do attribute and then use attribute to drive vibration and still leave hero ones animated.
