Guest tar
Looking at Deep Camera Map renders more closely now that Nuke8 & Houdini13 work very well together with Exr2. It appears that when Deep rendering we is 'limited' to box Pixel Filtering. This is the same in AtomKraft(3Delight), Nuke8 Scanline and maybe Pixar Renderman(?). 1. So deep is very cool, but is box-only filtering considered a disadvantage compared to non-deep renders? i.e where you can use other Pixel Filters like Guassian or Sinc to blend sub-pixels. 2. Do people render larger image sizes, comp them with Deep, then downsample with other filters as a final process? Thanks!
