Arpita
Hi,I am using vdb collisions in the source volume in collision mode and I am noticing that it affects the overall emission in the pyro sim as compared to before I used it. My collision geo vdb is intersecting with my emission geometry, but the colliding geo is debris and smaller and the emission is a bit bigger and from another type of geo. I would like the debris just to advect my volume- which it is already doing, but without altering the temperature/density. How can I achieve this? Annon
To get vdb collisions working you need to multiply them by -1. But if you are wanting just the velocity, just add the collisionvel>vel and don't add the collision field in itself.
Arpita
My source volume is set to -1 and I have piped it into the velocity advect of the solver. Are you referring to the volume operation where I set the source volume to none? After trying that it does not advect the smoke anymore.
